What are the responsibilities and job description for the Comfort Systems USA Southeast | Pipe Foreman position at Comfort Systems USA Southeast?
As a Pipe Foreman, you will be involved with managing commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects and assist with project needs including material management, personnel, schedules and communication with project management team, customers and building officials. Ability to travel, as needed, for projects
Job Duties
- Knowledge of project schedule / milestones, submittals, contract documents (addenda, specifications, drawings) and in-house shop drawings
- Ability to coordinate with other trades to complete HVAC / piping installations within project scope and schedule
- Experience managing project crews to install HVAC piping
- Accountable for the safe performance of personnel and equipment
- Understanding and complies with the company tool policy and can pass these values to less experienced employees
- Involved with completing required electronic documentations including daily reports, next week plans, accident reports, disciplinary reports, etc.
- Able to install piping systems to include chilled, hot and steam piping
- Able to work off ladders, man lifts and other equipment from various heights
- Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned
