What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Assistant position at Comfort Systems USA Southwest?
Job Functions & Duties
Maintaining a digital and electronic file of all necessary contract documents.- Assisting Project managers with day-to-day functions including but not limited to information requests, correspondence, develop and maintain spreadsheets, and any other duties as they arise.
- Data entry of contract and project accounting information into accounting software.
- Customer interaction with General Contractor’s representative for billing, collections, change orders and misc. as needed items.
Qualifications
Experience:
One (1) year experience in the construction industry or similar experience
One (1) year experience in a project assistant position
Understanding of construction methods and materials
We will train the right person
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
Data entry and word processing
Soft Skills:
Highly organized and detail orientated
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing
Working on a computer for 8 hours a day
May be required to work long and unpredictable hours
