Job Summary:
Join CT Mechanical, a trusted provider of exceptional comfort solutions since 2014, as a Commercial HVAC Technician! We're seeking a skilled professional with a minimum of 5 years' experience in starting, servicing, maintaining, repairing, and installing refrigeration and HVAC units. Role and Responsibilities:
- Service and install commercial HVAC equipment.
- Perform control wiring and experienced in start-up procedures.
- Inspect and make adjustments to new equipment operations to ensure reliable indoor air comfort.
- Handle operation, reclaim, and charging of refrigerants.
- Solder and braze new copper piping, as well as install PVC piping for condensation.
- Maintain inventory and supplies of air conditioning and refrigeration truck stock.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues to make repairs to HVAC equipment.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintaining, repairing, and installing refrigeration and HVAC units, or equivalent education.
- Strong knowledge of safety precautions associated with HVAC work.
- Required permits and licenses to repair, maintain, and operate refrigeration and HVAC systems (EPA Certified).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work duties.
- Sound professional judgment and commitment to ethics and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Proficiency in reading and comprehending electrical and mechanical plans and wiring diagrams.
