Job Summary:
Join Comfort Temp Company as a Delivery Driver with CDL! We are seeking a reliable and experienced individual to transport and deliver a variety of supplies and materials to our customers and job sites. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly by maintaining inventory, organizing stock, and operating warehouse equipment. Role and Responsibilities:
- Transport and deliver a variety of supplies and materials.
- Store, organize, and rotate stock utilizing proper storage methods and procedures.
- Prepare, pack, and load supplies, materials, parts, and equipment.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Operate delivery vehicles, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment.
- Perform regular checks on warehouse vehicles for fluid levels, proper tire pressure, and cleanliness; report potential safety issues or service needs.
- Maintain storage areas and warehouse equipment in a neat, clean, orderly, and safe manner.
- Pull supply orders and perform periodic inventories; recommend items for reorder to maintain necessary materials and supplies on hand.
- Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships.
- Other related work as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid CDL license.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships.
- Effective team member with a collaborative spirit.
- Ability to maintain documentation and records accurately.
- Strong organizational skills to meet schedules and timelines.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both orally and in writing.
- Proficiency in reading maps and schedules and adhering to route schedules.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
