Job Requirements
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Theatre Floor Staff. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service in ticket and concession sales while ensuring the theatre remains clean and well-maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Providing Guest Service: Engage with guests, make eye contact, smile, and provide quick efficient service while giving them your full attention.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Consistently keep the box office and/or concession area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Processing Sales: Process sales of tickets and concession items, assemble food items, operate point-of-sale terminals, and make accurate change. Offer additional products to complement guests' orders.
- Theatre Checks: Conduct theatre checks every 30-45 minutes for instances of theatre hopping, theft, or vandalism. Keep apprised of seating in crowded auditoriums and know where seats are still available.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Perform routine theatre checks outside the building in all types of weather for cleanliness, vandalism, or loitering. Ensure all auditoriums, restrooms, and game room areas are empty at night's end.
- Crowd Control and Policy Enforcement: Conduct crowd control and enforce all company policies and procedures (MPAA, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Knowledge and skill requirements: ability to read and interpret documents, follow oral and written instructions, and speak effectively before groups.
- Physical demands: routine walking, standing, bending, twisting, and carrying items weighing no more than fifty pounds.
