Position Summary :
Command Cyber Solutions (a federal government contractor) is seeking a qualified PHP Software Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in application development, with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale applications. The role will involve developing, implementing, and maintaining object-oriented applications, as well as contributing to all phases of the development life cycle. The role will work within a team culture of Passion, Trust, Empathy.c
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and maintain object-oriented applications with a variety of programming languages, including Python, C#, C and PHP
- Conduct analysis of application requirements, troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software and databases
- Utilize Jira and Confluence to contribute to all phases of the development life cycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment
- Utilize source debuggers and write or modify client software to ensure strong optimization and functionality
- Update and alter application features to enhance performance and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for software application and web application development
- Apply and manage software updates, patches, and security fixes, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements
