A minimum of 5 years' SIU / Surveillance experience’ is required.
Must have background in handling P&C investigations. Candidates who do not have property (non-auto) experience will not be considered.
Must have reliable transportation, along with own digital recorder and camera. Job duties include taking in-person recorded statements, scene photos, and writing a detailed, comprehensive report, as well as meeting strict due dates on all assignments. Bilingual a plus.
We are seeking individuals who possess proven investigative skill sets within the industry. Honesty, integrity, self-reliance, resourcefulness, independence, discipline, and a calm intensity are a few characteristics of our Investigators and staff.
This is a W-2 employee position role; subcontractors need not apply.
The SIU/Surveillance Investigator should demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
- P&C investigations
- Writing accurate and detailed reports
- Strong initiative, integrity, and work ethic
- Securing written/recorded statements
- Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks
- Computer literacy to include Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook email
- Proficiency and confidence in driving skills.
What you’ll need to apply:
- Able to obtain a Private Investigator license.
- Possession of a high school diploma or GED.
- Readiness to travel and accommodate overnight stays for remote assignments when necessary.
- Ability to utilize web-based technology, digital surveillance equipment and software.
- Flexible availability to work any day of the week, weekends and holidays when required.
- Capability to start work as early morning hours, with occasional afternoon/evening shifts.
- Successful completion of DMV and background checks – must have valid Driver’s License.
- Auto insurance – required liability limits must be 100k/300k/100k for Bodily injury per single person/Bodily injury per accident/Property damages.
- A reliable vehicle with a dark tint (following state regulations).
- Smartphone.
- Laptop computer (Windows or Mac).
- Digital video camera (handheld camcorder) with upload capability and accurate time and date stamp.
- Covert camera of choice.
