Job Summary
Elastizell Systems, Inc. is a locally-owned, family-operated company that specializes in exceptional lightweight cellular concrete applications. Based in Southwest Ohio, Elastizell is sought after for providing unmatched expertise in geotechnical applications, including engineered fill, annular and pipeline grouting, lightweight insulating roof decks, landscape and plaza fills. We are currently seeking a qualified Technical Sales Representative.
Responsibilities
- Develop short and long term sales strategies and plans, including outreach to current and prospective customers
- Identify and bid all appropriate projects and participate in the development of bid strategy for each job
- Deliver technical presentations to the current and potential clients
- Maintain awareness of external competition and the cellular concrete industry landscape as well as opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, new industry developments and standards
- Analyze cellular concrete market trends and develop action plans to capitalize on shifts in market
- Attend pre-bid/construction meetings when necessary and be on-site representative for certain projects
- Actively participate in cellular concrete industry and product-related associations, training programs, conferences, seminars and educational forums to develop and maintain key networking and business relationships
- Execute tactics for sales lead generation and prospecting new business
- Work independently to identify opportunities, promote, and sell Elastizell Systems, Inc. to current and potential clients
- Maintain effective relationships with current customers that lead to increased sales and revenue
Qualifications
- Engineering Diploma, or Degree, or equivalent.
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years in construction sales, ideally in the cellular or ready mix concrete industry
- Industry background in Civil Construction and/or Geotechnical projects andproducts
- Ability to interface well with engineers, general contractors, subcontractors & owners.
- Established contacts in civil and geotechnical engineering fields.
- Solid knowledge of concrete and construction materials and their application/use and specifications
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications
- A demonstrated track record of generating new business leads and transitioning leads into revenue generating customers
- Outstanding communication, collaboration, writing, and organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
