Janitor

CommCan is a family owned, vertically integrated Cannabis Company with a cultivation facility in Medway and a dispensary in each of the following towns: Millis, Rehoboth, and Mansfield. CommCan is looking for a Janitor to work in our Medway facility. The Janitor position will collaborate and cooperate with each department at the cultivation facility as needed, and will assist in maintaining clean, orderly, and sanitary conditions in designated building areas. The Janitor will carry out heavy duty cleaning tasks and maintenance activities, as well as stocking and maintaining supply rooms. The Janitor will perform other duties as requested.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, orderly and sanitary conditions
• Perform heavy duty cleaning tasks and regular maintenance
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Assist the general functions of the company
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Collaborate and cooperate with each department
• Perform other duties as requested

Requirements

• Ability to take direction.
• Possess a good attitude and pride in the work being accomplished in an outstanding manner.
• Proven working experience as a janitor with consistent, high quality, dependable work.
• Commitment to developing a range of skills in a fast-paced work environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Integrity and ability to work independently.

· Requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, and reaching as well as carrying and lifting up to 50 pounds.
