Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting the Activities Director with organizing, coordinating, marketing and advertising monthly community events.
- Contributing to the facility efforts to maintain and/or improve quality of care for each resident through participation in daily activities.
- Responsible for establishing, developing and carrying out age-related, functional impairment based, and dementia appropriates unique group based and individualized activities.
- Fostering family and community support of the activity program.
- Encouraging resident participation in each daily activity.
- Creatively preparing a monthly themed activity calendar for the residents.
- Budgeting of monthly activity expenses Ongoing development and implementation of an activities program designed to meet the social, psychosocial and therapeutic needs of each resident.
