Essential Job Duties
- Perform general building maintenance tasks; receive work orders and performs tasks required to complete duties assigned
- Monitor and record water temperatures throughout the facility, such as resident use areas, laundry and dietary areas
- Monitor and maintain HVAC system, electrical systems, and emergency generator systems
- The Transportation Driver under the direction of the Director of Maintenance to provide transportation services for facility Residents using the facility van.
- Transport residents to and from their medical appointments and community outings.
- In coordination with nursing staff ensure that proper medical documents are accurate for transport to medical visits/appointments.
- Maintain safety and comfort of residents during transportation.
- Keep a detailed log of all transports.
- Maintain the routine van mileage log.
- In coordination with facility maintain and schedule routine van maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned
