We have an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Artist / Designer to join our dynamic team!

Position Overview:

We are seeking to hire an experienced Graphic Artist / Designer, skilled in corrugated packaging and/or print manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of prepress processes, print production, and structural packaging design. This role requires creative thinking, technical precision, and the ability to transform customer needs into innovative and function production-ready corrugated packaging designs.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design high-quality, production ready artwork for corrugated packaging, including shipping boxes, retail displays, and custom packaging, based on sample requests.

· Collaborate with customers, sales, structural designers, and production teams to create solutions that are both visually engaging and within production capabilities.

· Prepare and manage files for prepress, ensuring accuracy in dielines, color separations, and print specifications.

· Work closely with customers to present concepts, refine designs based on feedback, and suggest design revisions to samples within the production specs.

· Stay current with industry trends, emerging print technologies, and materials.

· Work closely with production and design teams to address all design-related challenges and provide support during the manufacturing process.

· Generate prototypes and samples for client approval, incorporating feedback into the final design as needed.

· Ensure that all designs comply with relevant regulations and quality standards.

· Utilize Artios CAD, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and 3D software, to create exceptional designs around tight deadlines.

· Assist Design team with cutting die quotes, producing samples, and other administrative tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in graphic design, ideally in the corrugated packaging industry or print manufacturing.
• College degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Industrial Design, Packaging Science, or related field preferred.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and 3D Software.
• Proficient with ArtiosCAD and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in Flexography knowledge, packaging, trapping, color work, and corrugated manufacturing preferred.
• Strong understanding of printing processes, color theory, dielines, prepress production, corrugated materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication, time management, and project management skills.
• Creative problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Ability to provide portfolio upon request.
• Experience Level: Intermediate/mid-level.
