How you make a difference in this role:
This Executive Administrative Assistant 2 position provides executive level support to the Department's Chief of Staff and Deputy Commissioner.
Job Overview:
TDCI is looking for an energetic and experienced administrative professional to fill the executive service position noted above. The successful candidate will provide executive-level support to the Chief of Staff/Chief Operating Officer and the Deputy Commissioner and assist with office functions and initiatives from the Commissioner's Office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides executive-level administrative support to the Chief of Staff/Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Commissioner. Maintains the executive's calendar and travel arrangements.
- Acts as liaison to the Governor's office, legislative officials, state agencies, and other entities.
- Assists executives with varied analyses such as policy, organizational, facilities, and program analyses.
- Prepares and maintains a variety of confidential records and reports.
- Assists executive with the development of new policies and practices.
- Assists executive with managing communication/staffing processes, contracts/grants, and special projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional staff administrative experience preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and team building skills, and an ability to balance multiple priorities is essential to success in the role.
