Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Back Office Deposit Operations Specialist to join our team at Commerce Bank & Trust. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of deposit-related transactions and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a high level of accuracy, and a solid understanding of banking operations and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile daily deposit transactions, including ACH, wire transfers, and check processing.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to deposit accounts in a timely manner.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all internal policies and banking regulations.
- Assist with audits and regulatory reviews by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and operational activities.
- Flexible with regard to both schedule and role as both may change in response to business demand
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of experience in banking operations or back-office functions.
- Strong knowledge of deposit regulations, including ACH, Reg CC, and Reg E.
- Proficiency in banking systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
