The Marketing and Advertising Manager is responsible for leading all marketing and advertising initiatives to drive business growth, enhance brand visibility, and ensure strategic alignment with organizational goals. This role oversees media content distribution, PR strategies, creative campaigns, and advertising efforts while maintaining regulatory compliance and upholding the highest standards of professionalism. The Manager also mentors the Marketing team, fosters cross-departmental collaboration, and delivers measurable results across diverse platforms.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS
Strategic Marketing Leadership
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies, including PR, media buys, ad placements, and integrated campaigns across multiple channels.
Serve as the primary liaison for vendors, agencies, and external partners, fostering collaborative and effective working relationships.
Lead non-gaming campaigns, including ideation, execution, and evaluation, ensuring alignment with brand and business objectives.
Create and oversee the marketing plan, decks, and calendars, ensuring all deliverables are strategically aligned and on schedule.
Content Distribution and Media Oversight
Oversee all media content distribution, including newsletters, social media efforts, and creative materials, ensuring brand consistency.
Write and approve advertising copy for various media platforms, maintaining adherence to brand standards and regulatory compliance.
Review, proof, and approve all marketing collateral (brochures, posters, digital displays, website content, etc.) before final submission.
Collaborate with Marketing leaders to establish and evaluate metrics for success, refining strategies as needed.
Event and Campaign Oversight
Coordinate and implement advertising programs, including creative development, production timelines, and deadlines.
Oversee set design and property décor for holidays and special events.
Lead initiatives such as Sports Watch events and other targeted campaigns to attract diverse audiences and enhance guest engagement.
Oversee the timely installation of all internal casino signage and external advertising materials.
Team Leadership and Development
Oversee, train, and mentor the Marketing team, ensuring professional growth and high-performance standards.
Oversee employee scheduling, rewards, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations.
Promote a collaborative work environment while addressing and resolving team challenges.
Budget and Financial Oversight
Oversee all aspects of the Advertising, Promotions, and Events budget, including forecasting, reconciliation, and tracking expenses.
Generate purchase orders, check requests, and supporting materials to ensure timely payment of invoices.
Compliance and Record Maintenance
Ensure all marketing and advertising materials comply with regulatory standards and company policies.
Maintain accurate files and records in accordance with organizational and legal requirements.
Respond promptly and courteously to questions, complaints, or concerns on behalf of the Marketing team.
Collaboration and Communication
Establish effective working relationships with all operating departments, clients, and business partners to align marketing efforts.
Implement integrated internal and external communication strategies to amplify the impact of campaigns and promotions.
Collaborate with the Marketing leadership team to identify opportunities for sharing content and enhancing brand engagement.
Data Reporting and Analysis
Create, manage, and modify reports that measure the success of ad/media campaigns, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
Continually analyze campaigns and event results to identify opportunities for growth and development.
Other Responsibilities
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Marketing to support departmental and organizational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Work Experience: Five (5) plus years of experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably in the hospitality or gaming industry. Strong knowledge of advertising platforms, media channels, and PR strategies. Familiarity with content management systems and marketing analytics tools. Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under tight deadlines.
