PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS1. Possesses the ultimate decision-making responsibility for issues and employees on their assigned shift.2. Supervises Shift Managers and Relief Shift Managers on their assigned shift.3. Executes initiatives in alignment with the company’s annual financial plan and strategic financial plan. 4. Utilizes business intelligence tools to make casino operations decisions. 5. Monitors game operations to ensure that house rules are followed, that state, and federal regulations are adhered to, and that employees provide prompt and courteous service.6. Handle all irregularities and disputes that cannot be handled by Shift Managers. 7. Resolves escalated guest issues and communicates with all levels of management.8. Coordinates with departments to ensure total customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. 9. Ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations. 10. Maintains visual presence on casino floor.11. Enforces corrective action against individuals caught cheating. 12. Maintain familiarity with the games at a facility and with strategies or tricks used by cheaters at such games.13. Evaluate employee performance and prepare written performance evaluations.14. Monitor stations and games and move dealers from game to game to ensure adequate staffing.15. Establish policies on types of gambling offered, odds, or extension of credit.16. Review operational expenses, budget estimates, betting accounts, or collection reports for accuracy.17. Performs all other duties as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or comparable / or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
Licenses:• A casino work permit from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.• Must obtain and maintain a Key Employee License from the Bureau of Gambling Control.
Work Experience: Ten (10) plus years of prior management experience in casino gaming operations.
Must possess an ability to work with minimal supervision and make educated ethical decisions as necessary. Must be able to resolve conflicts and have effective communication skills with all levels of employees and be able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment. Must demonstrate an ability to work independently and to prepare detailed professional correspondence, memoranda, policies, procedures and regulations related to the employee’s duties. A general knowledge of the Windows based computer operating systems is also required.
SCHEDULED HOURS
Commerce Casino operates 24 hours, 7 days a week. Schedules may vary depending on business needs.
