ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Receives management training from Commerce Casino’s various departments.
Learns all Poker and California game rules pursuant to departmental dealing procedures.
Participates in on-the-job training, completing all assigned tasks.
Must be able to work any schedule including Holidays, weekends and graveyard shifts.
Assists with day-to-day operations with each department.
Observe and gain knowledge of company policies, protocols, and processes from various positions and departments in the company’s operations.
Performs all other work-related duties as assigned by Management.

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: 4-year college degree in Business Administration, Hospitality or a related field.

Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Applicant must be willing to work ANY schedule; schedules will change often while Management Trainees cycle through various positions as outlined in the Management Trainee Curriculum.
Current employees of Commerce Casino can apply for the Management Trainee program if they have been employed at least 6 months and are in good standing.
Must demonstrate positive/enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
Attendance and punctuality are an essential function of the position.
