What are the responsibilities and job description for the Poker Floorperson $16.00 per hour plus tips position at Commerce Casino?
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS
Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests
Starts new games in manner prescribed by company policy when appropriate.
Maintains proper communication with Casino Supervisors when starting and breaking games.
Ensures games are adequately supplied with customers.
Understands and is responsible for following Company and departmental policy and procedure.
Must know rules in Commerce poker rule book and have general knowledge of poker game etiquette.
Makes decisions in gaming disputes.
Effectively handles guest complaints and discrepancies in an efficient and courteous manner.
Must have knowledge of and comply with BSA/AML policies and procedures.
Notifies the Casino Supervisor or Shift Manager of any suspicious or unusual activity.
Responsible for all other work-related duties assigned by Casino Management.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Diploma
Work Experience: At least 1 (one) year of work experience in Casino gaming operations.
Required to walk and stand for at least (8) hours per shift. Must be able to lift ten (10) pounds for various job-related duties. Must possess an ability to work with minimal supervision and make educated ethical decisions as necessary. Must be able to resolve conflicts and have effective communication skills with all levels of employees and be able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
