Minimum Qualifications
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. Must possess current CPR/First Aid and Medication Administration certificates or be able to obtain them within 10 days of hire date. Must possess current Standard Precautions certification or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire date. Must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License and supply a current Motor Vehicle Record within 10 days of hire date.
Must have one of the following with documentation:
- A 4-year college degree with a major such as recreation, education with a specialty in art, elementary or early childhood education, or a subject in the human service field, and 12 months (1820 hours) of satisfactory and verifiable experience, since attaining the age of 18, in the care and supervision or 4 or more children, not related to the individual
- Two years of college training and 6 months (910 hours) of satisfactory and verifiable experience, since attaining the age of 18, in the care and supervision of 4 or more children, not related to the individual.
- Three years (5460 hours) of satisfactory and verifiable experience, since attaining the age of 18, in the care and supervision of 4 or more children.
Background check and fingerprints required. Bilingual in Spanish desired.
