Job Summary:
The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for retaining, deepening, and servicing existing client depository relationships by providing a superior operational client support experience with customized tailored banking solutions. The AM will provide high touch service by phone and email to business clients and the key owners and executives with their account needs. The AM will expand their depository portfolio focusing on KEO depository accounts and small to midsize businesses (i.e., manufacturing, wholesalers, service, professional services and selected related businesses) with revenues of between 5MM to 100MM through effective portfolio management and client referrals. This position will directly manage a portfolio of client deposit accounts to drive a high level of satisfaction; as well as executing processes to provide the clients with a standard number of treasury management products to maintain a goal of 100% client retention. AMs will also be accountable for preparing and recommending customized deposit proposals and/or customized deposit rate pricing to Manager of Deposit
Services.
Essential Functions:
1. Meets and exceeds monthly performance-based AM scorecard goals which include but are not limited to deposit retention, servicing, deposit growth, and cross sales.
2. On-board new deposit accounts for prospects and existing clients. Ensures that information is complete and in compliance with regulatory and Bank requirements.
3. Maintains and services a portfolio of depository relationships with an emphasis on client retention, cross-selling and growing the existing portfolio.
4. Builds strong relationships with the Business Banking Officers and Portfolio Managers to identify new prospects and cross-sell opportunities to existing clients.
5. Proactively looks to expand client base by cultivating client referrals, maintaining an active pipeline of prospects and opportunities, and daily client calls and prospecting activity
6. Logs client incidents, referrals, activities to track cross sell opportunities in the Bank’s Client Relationship Management (CRM) Database.
7. Proactively answers incoming calls and serves as a client advocate to resolve servicing or treasury management issues.
8. Works closely with the Business Banking Officers, Portfolio Managers, Treasury Management Officers and Corporate staff to maintain and enhance client relationships, new account process, and client on-boarding. Enhances the loyalty of existing relationships by referring opportunities to other parts of the company.
9. Processes teller related transactions, maintains a cash drawer, counts cash, and all other related operational tasks as assigned.
10. Understands the Bank’s operational guidelines, new account opening procedures and compliance by adhering to policies, processes, and procedures.
11. Performs other duties and special projects as needed and assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma required. College degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of opening new accounts, bank operations, portfolio depository management and commercial banking experience.
- Strong knowledge of business-related banking services and products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be a confident presenter and results driven.
- Self-start with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong client relationship management skills and computer proficient.
- Must be a team player, self-starter, flexible, and able to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Must present a professional image.
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
