We are seeking an Affordable Property Manager with exceptional attention to detail and customer service skills for a 165-unit low-income housing tax-credit community near Canby, OR.
The successful candidate will have several years of experience as a property manager and be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day property management, including marketing, maintaining property integrity, screening prospective residents, collecting rents, serving notices, and preparing agreements.
- Leasing and developing financial reports to drive the property's financial success.
- Living onsite at the property with a 100% discount on rent, utilizing a separate office to meet with residents and conduct work.
Requirements
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Three years of previous property management experience, managing 100 units.
- Experience managing an onsite team of 2 or more individuals.
- Prior Yardi Property Management Software experience is preferred.
- Basic experience with MS365, including TEAMS, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
- Ability to perform bookkeeping tasks involving collecting rent, preparation of reports, agreements, etc.
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly while paying attention to detail.
- Available for after-hours emergencies.
- Understanding and administration of landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Labor Laws, Fair Housing Laws, and safety protocols.
- A current valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance.
