Commercial Appliance Parts & Service is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Food Equipment Parts Specialist to join our team. This full-time position is responsible for supporting the Parts Department with various tasks including but not limited to shipping & receiving, inventory management, part purchasing and returns, data entry, and warehouse maintenance. The ideal candidate will work closely with the service department to ensure a smooth operation and prompt service delivery.
Essential Responsibilities
- Parts Coordination: Collaborate with the service department to ensure each technician has the necessary parts to succeed daily, involving tasks such as researching, tracking, ordering, and processing returns. Other duties as assigned by the branch manager.
- Communication: Foster open and transparent communication channels between Parts Coordinator and Technicians to enhance teamwork and efficiency.
- Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional interactions with team members, customers, vendors, and manufacturers to uphold service excellence.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure accurate inventory records.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with food equipment mechanical parts and the ability to research them effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Fast and accurate data entry skills.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Forklift certification or willing to obtain
