CCTV Technician Installation Manager
Installing, maintaining, and servicing security systems like CCTV and IP cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems, ensuring optimal security and functionality.
Ability to perform site-surveys and system design
Setting up new equipment, installing CCTV systems and connecting cabling for both IP and analog systems.
Install and configure CCTV systems and security cameras according to schematics.
Knowledge and experience in cameras, wiring and cabling, IT networking principles, network configuration protocols, CCTV maintenance, and surveillance setup.
Conduct tests on installed systems to ensure functionality and compliance with NEC standards.
Collaborate with clients to assess their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
Collaborate with team members to build and implement efficient installation processes.
Detect and troubleshoot issues with existing systems, providing timely solutions.
Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in CCTV installation and maintenance
- Experience with low voltage electrical systems and cabling
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools
- Familiarity with fire alarm systems and schematics
- Background in service technician roles and field service
- Knowledge of computer networking and security systems
- Understanding of alarm system sales and surveillance techniques
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
