Summary of Duties
Provides effective management, of assigned branch office(s) to meet established performance objectives with regard to branch profitability and oversees all CSR related functions as well as branch staff management. Implements policy, ensures proper security controls, assures conformance with compliance, and has total knowledge of products, services, policies, procedures and systems, practices excellent customer service skills and exercises managerial authority as a team leader.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Included but are not limited to:
- Carry out PBS, BBS & SuperBanker responsibilities as needed within the branch to ensure customer needs are exceeded. Including, but not limited to, deposit functions, account opening and consumer lending.
- Provides exceptional customer service delivery, fostering an environment that cultivates relationships with existing and new customers, local businesses, and community stakeholders.
- Take, address, and resolve customer issues and complaints while including appropriate parties within the bank.
- Maintains superior product knowledge for all products and services and the procedures for selling, opening, and servicing products and services related to deposits and consumer lending.
- Ensures team comprehension of branch and company-wide objectives for collective contribution to success, while establishing standards, setting realistic goals, and maintaining team accountability by holding staff responsible
- Prepares work schedules, delegate responsibilities and appropriately assigns duties to staff to ensure efficient operation of the branch occurs.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards is followed through all responsibilities.
- Represent the branch within the community through networking and participation in events.
- Develops an effective network of communication within the branch team and with key working departments to ensure shared knowledge and understanding of business activities.
- Identifies, address and escalate systemic issues and takes the appropriate actions to remedy exceptions.
Managerial Responsibilities
Included but not limited to:
- Be an exemplary leader fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Lead and manage the branch team: interview job applicants, make hiring and termination decisions in-line with Human Resources, coordinate training and development for branch staff and address employee performance appropriately.
- Continually develop self and branch staff by communicating regularly, conducting staff meetings, meet one-on-one with staff, develop skills, provide ongoing training, and share process/procedural changes as they arise.
- Provide accurate and timely performance reviews and salary adjustments to staff.
- Manages employee time records and approval of paid time off.
- Additional duties and projects as assigned by management.
Other Functions
1. Familiar with and abides by all bank regulations including but not limited to BSA and OFAC.
2. Adhere and comply with all Bank Policies.
3. Other duties as assigned.

Education/Certification/Licensing:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Advanced education in accounting, business administration or related field preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum requirement of 3 years banking or related experience required.
- At least 1 year of prior supervisory/management experience required.
Other Requirements:
- Good understanding of the Horizon system, Word, Excel, Outlook
- Good understanding of bank policies and procedures.
- Ability to identify priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to multitask.
- Requires team-building skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image.
- This position may require Saturday hours.

- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Adobe Reader, Outlook, Horizon XE, FIS Image Centre, BAI Learning & Development and various other financial institution platform systems.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to work in front of a computer for extended periods of hours; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. Must be able to travel from location to location throughout the office and to other bank offices, clients, and outside meetings. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
