Sales Executive
The Commercial Brokers Association (CBA), the country’s largest member owned commercial multiple listing service, is looking for an experienced and high-energy Sales Executive to expand CBA’s brokerage and affiliate memberships in the Pacific Northwest.
CBA offers its members an all-inclusive platform of essential tools and services for commercial real estate brokers and affiliated industry participants. Our member tools and services include property & listings data, standardized legal forms and contracts, continuing education classes, and legislative advocacy. In addition to CBA’s own proprietary market research and legal forms, CBA partners with other leading industry resources, data companies, and professionals to provide the industry’s most valuable suite of resources.
A successful candidate will be energetic, persuasive, independent, and well organized – with excellent communication, support, and presentation skills. Must be able to define and execute effective sales strategies, business development, marketing, technical, sponsorship, advertising, and sales support programs to maximize sales and profitability.
Sales Executive responsibilities:
- Identifying and converting new prospects to grow CBA’s Broker, Affiliate, and Appraiser memberships
- Communication with existing members about any product or service issues and how to execute using CBA’s tools more effectively to enhance their business
- Selling event sponsorships and other advertising opportunities to members and tangential industry participants
- Track all relevant sales and marketing data – segmenting by demographics, needs, priorities or other factors
- Fundamental understanding of CBA’s value proposition, market differentiating platform, and extensive knowledge of its data, applications, and resources
- Understanding the competitive landscape and market trends
Sales Executive qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 2-3 years of experience in sales
- Real Estate industry experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary ($55,000 to $75,000, based upon experience & qualifications), plus commissions based upon annualized new membership/revenue growth, sponsorship/ad sales, and product upselling
