Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Maintain cleanliness in facilities through industrial cleaning methods.
- Conduct floor care activities including buffing and polishing surfaces.
- Assist with custodial duties in both commercial and residential settings.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are used efficiently and safely.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Participate in facilities maintenance tasks as needed.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to meet quality standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning roles such as porter or custodial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous.
- Experience in floor care maintenance, including buffing and polishing, is a plus.
- Knowledge of residential painting can be beneficial but is not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
