General Cleaner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including commercial, industrial, and residential environments. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks and a commitment to upholding high standards of hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial, industrial, and residential spaces to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas by dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Conduct thorough floor care including buffing and polishing as needed.
• Handle custodial duties such as emptying trash bins, sanitizing restrooms, and replenishing supplies.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required to support overall operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while performing cleaning duties.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning preferred.
• Familiarity with custodial practices and procedures is a plus.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing is advantageous.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintaining cleanliness in all assigned areas.

Pay: $12.00 - $12.50 per hour
