Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team. The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness within our facilities, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for all occupants.
Responsibilities
- Perform custodial duties such as cleaning, mopping, sweeping, and dusting
- Maintain and clean floors by vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping
- Handle trash removal and disposal
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs
- Monitor and report any repairs or maintenance issues
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures
Requirements
- Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
- Ability to perform general facilities maintenance tasks
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
- Experience in residential painting is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Custodial: 2 years (Preferred)
- Cleaning: 2 years (Preferred)
