Job Summary
We are seeking an Environmental Services Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in healthcare facilities or commercial buildings.
Responsibilities
- Perform various cleaning duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and buffing floors
- Dispose of trash and hazardous materials following proper procedures
- Utilize cleaning chemicals in a safe and efficient manner
- Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company policies
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a clean and safe environment
Experience
- Prior experience in environmental services, custodial work, or commercial cleaning is preferred
- Knowledge of sanitization practices and procedures
- Familiarity with working in hospital or healthcare settings is a plus
- Understanding of OSHA regulations related to cleaning and sanitization
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Environmental services: 3 years (Preferred)
- Cleaning: 3 years (Preferred)
