Job Overview
We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team at a busy distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling materials, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities.
Duties
- Perform materials handling tasks such as loading, unloading, and storing items
- Operate heavy equipment including cherry pickers for order picking
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Follow safety protocols and OSHA guidelines for warehouse operations
Requirements
- Prior experience in a warehouse setting is preferred
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and order picking processes
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques
- Experience as a warehouse supervisor is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
