We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our multiple facilities are clean, well-maintained, and safe for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, contributing to a positive environment for employees and visitors alike.
Duties
- Perform commercial cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in all areas of the facility.
- Execute floor care duties such as buffing and polishing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained and presentable.
- Conduct custodial services in various settings, including both residential and commercial spaces.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, addressing minor repairs and upkeep as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, ensuring supplies are stocked and available.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to uphold safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
- Some travel required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance tasks such as basic repairs or painting is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Some travel required.
