CONSTRUCTION MANAGER / FIELD SUPERINTENDENT
Established Commercial Roofing Contractor is looking for Construction Manager/Superintendent candidates for immediate start. Base salary and quarterly bonus included. Minimum of 5 years of experience with commercial roof systems, construction management, and ability to train others.
The Roofing Construction Manager/Superintendent is to coordinate the field operations. The CM/Superintendent manages the Crew Chiefs/Foremen and all commercial roofing field operations. The CM/Superintendent oversees the jobs in progress to ensure that they are on schedule, meets budgets, and monitors safety on site. The CM/Superintendent works with Project Manager and Coordinator to schedule material orders and deliveries. The CM/Superintendent will be in constant contact with the Project Manager and Operations Manager to ensure the jobs run on schedule and on/under budget, and all information needed by the Foreman is provided in a timely manner. Must provide leadership skills and ensure company policies are followed and respected.
QUALIFICATIONS
Five years satisfactory work record as a Construction Manager/Superintendent with a similar size-roofing contractor or general contractor.
Understanding roofing/construction practices, techniques, codes, and regulations.
Valid State Driver’s License and clean record
Must be an lawful resident and clear background check in federal government projects.
Needs to understand scheduling, record keeping, and can deal effectively with people.
Must be able to prioritize workload to ensure that the most important tasks are completed first.
Must be able to hire and fire field workers as needed to improve efficiency and productivity.
Must be able to understand and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Basic computer skills, including the use of emails via smart phone/tablet.
Understanding of Spanish a plus.
