Service Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Commercial food equipment repair, Refrigeration, HVAC and appliance repair. This role involves diagnosing and repairing various Restaurant equipment, ensuring that systems operate efficiently and effectively. The Service Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to provide exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Commercial food equipment, Refrigeration systems and HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Perform service and repair on various restaurant equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Build and plumb new installations as required.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify potential problems.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Drive a company van to service locations, ensuring timely arrival for appointments.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Food Service Technician or in HVAC/Refrigeration related fields.
• Strong skills in equipment repair.
• Familiarity with reading schematics and technical manuals.
• Experience in building and plumbing installations is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
