What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpenter position at Commercial Employees?
We’re hiring an Experienced Carpenter for a North Charleston Commercial Construction Company. This daylight position has a pay range of $18 - $22 per hour with weekly pay and very strong benefits.
Experienced Carpenter Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of construction and carpentry-related tasks, including but not limited to digging, loading, and carrying materials, using tools and machinery, and assisting skilled tradespeople as needed.
- Read and follow blueprints, plans, and instructions from supervisors.
- Build, repair, and install structures, frameworks, and fixtures using wood and other materials.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
Experienced Carpenter Requirements:
- Previous construction and carpentry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with construction and carpentry tools and equipment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials (up to [weight limit], e.g., 50 lbs.).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
