Job Description

We are filling multiple Industrial Electrician & Power Tester positions with a starting pay range of $22.00 - $23.00 per hour for a leading manufacturer of power transformers in the Canonsburg area. First & second shift opportunities available for our Industrial Electrician & Power Tester .

Industrial Electrician & Power Tester role responsibilities :

Performs electrical work in the maintenance, repair, and installation of a wide variety of machinery and electrical control apparatus throughout the facility.
Follow electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment.
Prepares requisition for materials and supplies.
Prepares sketches showing location of wiring and equipment.

Industrial Electrician & Power Tester role requirements :

High school diploma or GED required.

Must have additional schooling in electrical applications.

Two years’ experience with transformers or high voltage equipment design, manufacturing, service or testing.

Must be able to perform work at heights occasionally.

Must be able to pass physical work requirements.

Must be willing to work flexible hours and occasional overtime when warranted.

Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, with assistance; 50-60 lbs alone.

Ability to pass required math and tester exam.

Competency using electric calculators and entering data in the system.

Competency using computers and logging data

Must be able to pass a background check & drug screen.
