We are filling several CNC Machine Operator positions for a well established company located in McKees Rocks. This CNC Machine Operator role has a starting pay rate of $16 - $19 / hr.
Must have experience operating machines in an industrial environment!
CNC Machine Operator Schedule :
Monday – Friday 8a – 4 : 30p
CNA Machine Operator Responsibilities :
Setup and operate mechanical and spring & wire forming machines.
Perform troubleshooting on machinery and execute changeovers.
Set up and operate a basic range of compression, extension, and torsion springs.
Read blueprints and fill out SPC (Statistical Process Control) reports.
Load springs into the machine accurately and efficiently.
Adjust the machine to the correct height settings according to specific product requirements.
Operate the machine to grind down springs using a grindstone, ensuring they are flattened and any imperfections are removed.
Monitor the grinding process to maintain consistent quality and identify any potential issues.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the machines to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct quality checks on finished springs to verify they meet company standards.
CNC Machine Operator Qualifications :
Experience in the manufacturing industry and plant / factory working environment.
Ability to operate basic manufacturing machinery and tools...non-handheld!
Strong attention to detail and precision.
Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
