We are filling multiple Industrial Electrician positions with a starting pay range of $22.00 - $23.00 per hour for a leading manufacturer of power transformers in the Canonsburg area. First & second shift opportunities available for our Industrial Electrician spots.

Industrial Electrician role responsibilities :

  • Performs electrical work in the maintenance, repair, and installation of a wide variety of machinery and electrical control apparatus throughout the facility.
  • Follow electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment.
  • Prepares requisition for materials and supplies.
  • Prepares sketches showing location of wiring and equipment.

Industrial Electrician role requirements :

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must have additional schooling in electrical applications.
  • Two years’ experience with transformers or high voltage equipment design, manufacturing, service or testing.
  • Must be able to perform work at heights occasionally.
  • Must be able to pass physical work requirements.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours and occasional overtime when warranted.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, with assistance; 50-60 lbs alone.
  • Ability to pass required math and tester exam.
  • Competency using electric calculators and entering data in the system.
  • Competency using computers and logging data
  • Must be able to pass a background check & drug screen.
