We are seeking Quality Control Technician c andidates for a well established company located in McKees Rocks. This Quality Control Technician role has a starting pay rate of $17 - $18 / hr.
Quality Control Technician Schedule :
Monday – Friday 8a – 4 : 30p
Quality Control Technician Responsibilities :
Use test equipment to gather and compare dimensional data from production parts.
Read and interpret technical drawings.
Use high-accuracy manual measuring tools.
Program and operate automated testing equipment.
Apply geometric principles to calculate data from drawings.
Understand industry standards for Aerospace, Military, Electrical, Nuclear, Transportation, Life Science, and Industrial Equipment.
Create compliance documents, data analysis, and certification tools.
Follow ISO9001 Quality Management System requirements.
Conduct audits, investigate failures, and improve processes within ISO9001.
Quality Control Technician Qualifications :
Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail.
Able to read and understand technical drawings.
Skilled with high-accuracy manual dimensional measuring tools.
Able to learn programming and use automated testing equipment.
Knowledge of geometric principles for calculations from drawings.
Familiar with standards and specifications for Aerospace, Military, Electrical, Nuclear, Transportation, Life Science, and Industrial Equipment.
Able to create compliance documents, data spreadsheets, and analysis tables.
Committed to workplace safety and ISO9001 Quality Management.
Eager to learn and grow within the role.
