JOB SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Corporate VP of Sales, the key responsibilities for the Sales Account Manager role include:
· Participate in all aspects of direct sales efforts and personally manage assigned active and prospective accounts.
· Responsible for identifying and qualifying sales opportunities within those customers and prospects listed under assigned accounts and/or territories. Coordinate with all CFP departments to ensure accurate information is available in order to assess and determine the account’s sales potential.
· Travel as required in support of establishing and maintaining close, positive interpersonal relationships with all customers and prospects.
· Assist and maintain field sales practices and policies to ensure honest, fair, and ethical relationships with customers, within the guidelines of organization policies and objectives.
· Be responsible for the coordination of New Product Development and Engineering needs within existing customer base as well as prospect accounts. Facilitate the proto-type procedure for any new business opportunity and monitor the new part entry process to ensure production quantities are supplied as per the initial agreed upon purchase order requirements.
· Keep customer files current and accurate within Manufacturing and Sales systems.
· Stay updated on changing industry, technology and business trends.
· Perform other related duties as directed by the VP of Sales.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a four (4) year (B.S or B.A) college/university degree. Business, Liberal Arts degrees and/or related courses in Engineering, Metallurgy and/or Material Science. Work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Strong oral & written communication skills
- Project management and sales planning required.
- Ability to present sales and market information to upper management in a clear and professional manner.
- General blueprint reading capabilities
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Strong inter-personnel and relationship development skills.
- Proficient in related computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point and Project.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is primarily a field position. Travel and night and evening work are required. Must have a valid driver’s license and passport for travel to customer visits.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
