What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lightning Protection Installer position at Commercial Lightning Protection LLC?
Commercial Lightning Protection is seeking a Installer for our Garner, NC office.
Commercial Lightning Protection designs and installs lightning protection and grounding systems throughout the Southeast.
As an Installer, you will:
- install lightning protection systems that are neat, presentable and functional in all aspects
- conduct system and ground resistance testing/certification and generate As-Built drawings at the close of each project.
- participate in weekly safety training and safety checks.
- learn and apply lightning protection codes and standards.
- perform other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will:
- be comfortable on a ladder and working from heights.
- comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- have the ability to read, comprehend and interpret documents such as blueprints, system layouts, safety rules and other documentation.
- have the ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
- be willing to work overtime, when needed.
- enjoy working as part of a team.
- pass our criminal background and drug screening criteria.
- have a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record.
