Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing Commercial Insurance brokerage. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organization and negotiation skills, with an understanding of the insurance market and Commercial Insurance client needs. As a Renewal Assistant, you will be responsible for marketing various lines of Insurance Coverage for our existing Customers' renewals, researching new market places, communicating with both clients, Insurance Companies and the Account Manager. This role requires the ability to manage one's own workload, maintain important deadlines and a commitment to understanding the insurance industry.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely receipt of renewal information from the Customer.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of insurance policies to ensure client satisfaction and correct and competitive placement.
- Timely market current customer renewal policies to ensure that we are providing competitive renewal options.
- Conduct market research to discover new market/product availability.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions with insureds, insurance carriers, office staff and progress on renewal marketing
Qualifications
- 3 Years Prior Commercial Insurance Experience
- Property & Casualty Insurance License (Preferred)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Excellent organizational skills to secure favorable terms for clients.
- Experience with Applied TAM and/or Epic Systems
- Experience with Microsoft platform of products (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
