Commercial Plastics seeks full-time Machine Operators on 3rd shift for our manufacturing facility in Waverly, NE. We are experiencing a tremendous amount of growth in our Waverly, NE Facility. 3rd Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri, 12am-8am
Essential duties and responsibilities can include, but are not limited to, tending injection molding machines and packages product according to customer specifications by performing the following duties.
Production Responsibilities for Operators:
- Read and understand checklist and work order of job specifications to determine quality standards
- Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction
- Measure workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, and flash from workpiece
- Stack, mark, pack, and /or transport finished workpieces according to work orders
General Responsibilities for Operators:
- Read and understand checklist and work order of job specifications to determine quality standards
- Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction
- Measure workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, and flash from workpiece

Qualifications for Operators:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 55 pounds
Language Skills for Operators:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
