Shop Float Swing Shift

Responsibilities

• Reference daily schedule in order to understand production priorities.
• Review work-orders before production begins to ensure that all information is present and accurate and that any special instructions are attended to.
• Prepare parts according to work-order specifications.
• Hang or set parts from designated locations on the part.
• Plug or mask parts as specified on the work-order.
• Thoroughly, completely, and efficiently blast parts according to the production schedule.
• Prepare parts for the strip tank, to monitor parts, and pressure wash as necessary.
• Run Parts until the production schedule has been completed.
• Communicate any problems or production issues with the Shop Floor Manager.
• Quality Control of finished goods and product packaging.
• Ensure quality standards and processes are used throughout the work area and facility.
• Complete required job documentation.
• Maintain a safe work environment for self and others when operating equipment and/or performing job functions.
• Detect and report defective or questionable material, product, and conditions to the department lead.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment
• Perform general housekeeping duties in work areas including maintaining lot.
• Greet customers as necessary and offer assistance when applicable.
• Assist customers with loading and/or off-loading product.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures; paying special attention to safety regulations.
• Back up Sand blaster

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED, or equivalent additional job experience
• Understand job-specific work orders and job paperwork.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
