CRS is looking to bolster its already successful team with some new, consultative talent. The Product Sales Specialist will be responsible for finding opportunities to consult recreation organizations and help us grow our B2B sales in Southern territories such as Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect for new business via site visits, phone calls, emails
- Receive and vet inbound sales leads; follow up via phone, email and Microsoft Teams
- Establish productive, professional relationships with decision makers
- Prepare and present proposals via telephone and Microsoft Teams
- Partner with inside sales, management and share-holders; make site visits when appropriate
- Track sales progress in Sugar CRM
- Actively attend and participate in department, company and customer meetings
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
Preferred Education, Background & Skills:
- 3 years experience in outside sales, account executive or business development roles
- 3 years experience in the hospitality and/or recreation industry
- Consultative, needs-based sales process experience in a B2B environment
- Degree or courses in any of: Sales, General Business, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality
- Intermediate level skills with business and productivity software: email, word processing, spreadsheets, etc that are essential to conducting general business tasks
- Proficiency in CRM software, Google Earth, presentation software like Power Point and Digideck

- Environmental Conditions: Home office; trips to project sites and tradeshows
- This is a remote position but candidate must live within Southern territories such as Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana or Mississippi. This position will require up to 50% travel to customer’s locations, trade shows, CRS headquarters in Verona, WI and may require overnights.

- This position is classified as Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and not subject to the requirements for payment for any hours worked in excess of 40 in a week (overtime). This position is expected to occasionally require hours in excess of 40 hours per week during seasonal needs, for business related travel or if related to a special project.
