POSITION OVERVIEW
Receives and distributes tires and other items within warehouse by performing the following duties.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Provides customers with knowledgeable, courteous and prompt service at all times, while being sensitive to their needs.
- A team player committed to continuous improvement.
- Adheres to and supports safe work practices and Commercial Tire’s safety guidelines and standards
- Receives all inbound freight within warehouse, unloads freight on truck and checks off orders in a timely fashion. Maintains high accuracy level in check-off procedures.
- Reads work orders to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed. Loads trucks.
- Uses computer to assist with locating types of tires by manufacturer; transfers inventory to stores; closes out transfer requests and bills the appropriate location.
- Assists with slow-moving, obsolete inventory items and reports observations to supervisor.
- Assists with requests received from store personnel or outside customers, researches problem if necessary and responds in a timely fashion.
- Maintains a clean, neat and orderly warehouse environment with inventory stored in its proper place. Helps with maintaining over-stocked areas.
- May operate forklift and other vehicles, if necessary.
- Completes all required training.
- All other duties as assigned to support the business.

QUALIFICATIONS – Unless indicated otherwise, these are are preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age
- One month related experience/training
