What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2025 Conference & Gala Volunteer position at Committee of 100?
Committee of 100 is seeking motivated and reliable individuals to volunteer for our 2025 Annual Conference & Gala in Los Angeles from Friday, April 25 to Saturday April 26, 2025, at the Fairmont Century Plaza (2025 Avenue of the Stars, Los Angeles, CA 90067).
The Annual Conference & Gala is our largest convening of distinguished Committee of 100 members and U.S.-China leaders. Each year, we are grateful for our team of volunteers who contribute their time and talents to help us ensure an impactful and seamless conference. Volunteers gain invaluable exposure and behind-the-scenes insights into orchestrating a successful event. Many of our volunteers will be the faces of Committee of 100 at the conference. In addition, our volunteers will be working in and around the venue, often being the first to greet our exceptional guests and speakers.
Please fill out the application form no later than Friday, February 28, 2025, if you're interested in becoming a volunteer. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
Limited volunteer positions are available. Preference will be given to those with a demonstrated commitment to supporting Committee of 100's dual mission to promote the full participation of Chinese Americans in all aspects of American life and to advance constructive relations between the U.S. and Greater China. Candidates must physically attend the mandatory volunteer orientation on Thursday, April 24, 2025.

Registration desk support
Speaker support
Greeter/Usher/Directional support
Miscellaneous needs/runners
Volunteer Requirements:
Must wear business attire onsite
Travel and lodging are the volunteer's responsibility
Candidates must physically attend the mandatory volunteer orientation on Thursday, April 24, 2025
