Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 2 PM - 10:30 PM
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage the warehouse workflow for inbound and outbound cargo to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Proactively identify and address potential claims to minimize risks.
- Foster a cooperative work environment where shifts collaborate to maximize productivity, cooler capacity, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure all tasks meet Commodity Forwarders' quality standards, minimizing damage and claims.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and complete reports and records.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations for all freight forwarding activities, both at origin and destination.
- Complete departmental tasks promptly and accurately.
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with food safety and OSHA standards, as directed by warehouse management.
- Enforce adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Follow proper protocols to minimize compliance violations (TSA, USDA, FDA, etc.).
- Ensure timely cut-off times for air freight and trucking operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. and pass TSA background check.
- 1-2 years of warehouse experience.
- 1-2 years of forklift experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hour shifts.
- Capable of completing freight forwarding forms and documents.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment; ability to multi-task and handle high-pressure situations. Weekend and holiday availability may be required, depending on the season.
Cold Storage Conditions:
- Freezers: 0–15 degrees
- Coolers: 28–39 degrees
- Loading Docks: 40–55 degrees
