Job Description : Prop Power Traders – Jr to Snr
The Senior Prop Power Trader will have a successful current track record trading prop power in the US power and heat-rate markets. The ideal candidate will have a profitable track record with PnL ranging $2 mln - $10 mln, reflecting 8x-10x VaR, and ability to double in scale. Junior candidates also welcome .
Location : NYC & Metro. Base : $150,000 - $250,000. PnL percentage bonus indication 12%-15 %.
Trading experience may encompass the full range of time horizons, with a strong emphasis on short-term and mid-term power trading, but also experience with power basis and heat-rate markets, including UTC, BalWeek, BalDay, NextDay. Virtual, FTR, ISO, nodal markets and ICE experience welcome.
Candidate will have industry, bank and / or fund experience, exceptional relationship trading skills and a proven ability to generate and close new trades. The candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented and comfortable multi-tasking.
Senior and Junior Experienced Power Traders will work closely with and report to the Head of Proprietary Power Trading.
Salary : $150,000 - $250,000
