Overview:
Common Ground Wellness Cooperative (CGWC) is a well-established wellness center in Portland with nearly 40 years of service. Our facility includes a saltwater heated soaking pool, a dry sauna, and a variety of wellness services. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced practitioner to rent office space within our thriving integrative wellness community.
We offer a range of holistic health modalities; our practitioner body consists primarily of massage therapists and we want to continue branching out our wellness offerings to include a greater variety of healthcare practitioners. Preference given to one of the following: Aesthetician, Nutritionist, Herbalist, Acupuncturist, Naturopath, Wellness Coach, Mental Health Therapist or other healthcare practitioners.
The available days for rental are Thursdays and Fridays with business hours from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The monthly rental fee is $485.90 with potential for additional hours at a negotiated hourly rate with the primary tenant. We are looking for a tenant to start ASAP.
Role:
As an independent contractor, you will manage your own business revenue and expenses. You will rent space from a primary tenant responsible for the lease agreement. The candidate must have a minimum of 18 months of professional experience in their field and be fully licensed and insured.

- Lead generation through our well established wellness center
- Walk-in and referral clients from bathhouse sessions
- Personalized listing on Common Ground’s website
- Use of reception lobby and 7-day a week reception service
- High-speed Wi-Fi, copy machine, virtual faxing
- Shared break room/kitchen
- Dedicated practitioner client bathroom
- Practitioner wash station with a PC for MindBody access
- All utilities included
- Mindbody scheduling and point-of-sale software
- Online booking and marketing support (email campaigns, social media presence, in-house postings, retention marketing and annual advertisement funding)
- Personal use of the bathhouse
- Parking lot and easy access to public transit
Requirements:
- Minimum 18 months of professional experience in your field
- Fully licensed and insured in your field(s)
- Able to manage responsibilities of an independent business owner
