Base Pay: $20.50 - $21.50 per hour, plus eligible shift premiums

- Part-time, 16 hrs weekly, 4 pm - 12 am, including rotating weekends and holidays

About You
The ideal Milieu Specialist aims to calm an oftentimes chaotic situation. Your spidey senses are always on 100 and you react swiftly with a supportive and empathetic approach. In times of uncertainty, you seek to understand and are not afraid to ask questions. You’re comfortable working in a multidisciplinary environment, while accompanying the needs of your team. Critical thinking and decision-making skills are key, and you thrive in these areas. You are also able to manage evolving needs with ease.

Day In the Life
- Contribute to a warm and welcoming atmosphere
- Create and maintain a safe environment for individuals experiencing a crisis
- Monitor daily activities of individuals served, provide emotional support, and intervene to deescalate situations
- Actively engage with your team, other departments, and individuals served
- Provide recovery coaching to people that result in diverting them from in-patient hospitalization
- Provide accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record
What You Need to Apply
- High school diploma or GED; Associates degree or higher, preferred
- Minimum 1-year experience providing services to persons with serious mental illness
- Valid driver's license
